I tried opening a perpetuity once, but it was a bad idea and didn't get anywhere (in fact, half the text for this bond I copy pasted from that original thread ) People may not be playing EVE in 12 months or 6 months or whatever undetermined length of time. So I try to run bonds that are paid back relatively quick so investors can get their interest + principal without hopefully getting bored in the meantime.
